Family Law Experts Continue to Expand in the Face of the Global Pandemic
A firm of solicitor’s specialising in family law has continued it’s expansion, despite the current economic uncertainty due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Family Law Group, which has offices all over the East Midlands and beyond, have appointed eight new members of staff, which includes five paralegals and three support staff.
The new members of the team will be joining or have recently joined the firm’s Nottingham, Northampton, Derby, Milton Keynes and Peterborough offices over the coming weeks. Having been interviewed remotely by Zoom or conference call and starting work without any face to face meeting, it has been a testament to modern technology that such important roles can be filled under these conditions. One new member of the team, was recruited and commenced work during lockdown, and he said; “working for a new company for three weeks without meeting anyone was certainly unusual. Using remote systems and video conferences does not fully convey how a new office environment will be or how you fit into the office dynamic, but it’s been an amazing experience so far.”
Amanda Brown, Director commented that; “the expansion at a time of great worldwide economic uncertainty was driven by the firm’s continued focus on growing its legal team to provide legal advice to as many clients across our office locations as possible.
We are pleased that the firm continues to experience growth and, regardless of economic factors, there is always a call for family law specialists who have what it takes to make a real difference to clients’ lives.”
With the current lockdown and social distancing restrictions, the firm’s staff are working both remotely and from each office location and have the systems and processes in place to continue with remote appointments, hearings and case work.
