Family Law Group Welcomes Another New Solicitor

Family Law Group is pleased to congratulate Aimee Booth, who qualified as a Solicitor on 2 October 2020.

Aimee joined Family Law Group in April 2016, where she joined the Civil Legal Advice Team in our Nottingham office as a Paralegal. Within less that a year, Aimee progressed to undertake paralegal work for a Director of the firm in December 2016. Given her quick progression, hard work and client care skills, Aimee was then awarded a training contract in 2018 and then started to specialise in domestic abuse cases. To further expand her knowledge, whilst assisting vulnerable clients, she set up and ran two domestic abuse advice surgeries within the city.

Moving to our Chesterfield office in July 2020, she looks forwards to progressing her career within Family Law Group, continuing to build her case load, establish a network of referral work in Chesterfield and help clients at a very difficult time in their lives. Aimee now specialises in injunctions, private law children disputes, separation, divorce and financial matters.

Reflecting on her time and progression within the firm, Aimee commented, “I have felt supported throughout the growth of my legal career and have gained invaluable experiences shadowing knowledgeable colleagues and senior solicitors.”

“Having wanted to be a solicitor within the family law sector for a number of years, it is now important to me that my clients feel listened to and supported, whilst being provided with the right legal advice. I can’t wait to see what the future holds and how I can continue my legal journey with Family Law Group for many more years.”
