Legal firm defy gloom to recruit new staff
Family Law Group is delighted to continue its expansion, despite the current economic uncertainty due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Since March 2020, we have appointed 32 new members of staff, to a range of roles across all our offices, including solicitors, paralegals and support staff. The additions include solicitors, Nadia Sheikh and Emilie Haine who have started at our Northampton and Cambridge office respectively.
Our firm, which started in Nottingham back in 2005, has now expanded to ten offices around the UK and has 120 employees. In addition to increasing its staff numbers, we have seen a number of internal promotions including, Aimee Booth and Will Matheson, who recently qualified as Solicitors.
Reflecting on her time and progression within the firm, Aimee commented, “I have felt supported throughout the growth of my legal career and have gained invaluable experiences shadowing knowledgeable colleagues and senior solicitors.”
Amongst the internal progressions, Claire Howard and Hayley Geen were recently promoted to Associate Solicitors within the firm. Claire commented that she was “very pleased to have been made an Associate Solicitor and to be part of and developing my professional experience within such a well-respected and leading family law firm”.
Simon Leach, Director at Family Law Group, added: “We are delighted to see the continued progression of all our staff and wish them all well in their new roles. We are pleased that our reputation continues to grow and regardless of economic factors, family law is such a niche area of law that there is always a call for legal professionals and others who have what it takes to make a real difference to clients' lives."
“As a firm which specialises in family law, we look for the highest quality of people which not only share our firm’s values, but want to provide the best legal advice and service to our clients” he added.
“Of course, with the current climate, we have had to adapt, from the safeguarding of offices, to providing digital services during the national lockdown and maintaining our high levels of legal support and advice to both new and existing clients.”
“As we continue to adapt to the changing restrictions across the nation, we are confident that our systems and processes alongside employing and developing the careers of the high quality legal professionals, who join our team, will help us with our future expansion.”
