Rabina is an Assistant Solicitor who joined Family Law Group in January 2021. Rabina is based in our Nottingham office and specialises in injunctions, non-molestation orders and private children matters, she also represents clients at court.
Having studied at Nottingham Trent University, getting a 2:1 in law in 2012, Rabina went on to complete her LPC at Nottingham Law School in 2015. After graduating, she worked as a Legal Assistant specialising in debt recovery before becoming a motor recovery paralegal. From here, Rabina became a trainee solicitor with a small firm focusing on family, wills, and immigration, she then qualified as a Solicitor in July 2020.
Rabina has always wanted a career in family law and is very happy to be joining Family Law Group. Rabina prides herself on being organised, personable, a good listener and is strongly passionate about obtaining justice for her clients, who are going through a difficult time in their lives.
Rabina has wanted a career in law since a young age, after going to court as part of schoolwork experience, she found this interesting and developed the drive to become a solicitor. As family law is a changing mix of office work and court hearings, Rabina finds this enjoyable and rewarding, as there is a mixture of tasks, she can split her focus between. She believes it is a great feeling when you can help someone through a difficult time in their lives.
Outside of work, Rabina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, learning how to cook and bake and when allowed, travelling. She can also speak Bengali and understands Urdu and Hindi.
